MNEMET aims to bring together researchers from three Italian universities.
Associate Professor of Statistics at UniTS and Principal Investigator of MNEMET. Her research focuses on dependence modeling using copulas, computational statistics, classification and clustering of time series, as well as spatio-temporal data analysis. She has published her work in international journals, including Statistics and Computing, Spatial Statistics, Environmetrics, Statistical Papers.
Associate professor of Econometrics at UniTS. His research interests include Bayesian and spatial econometrics, panel cointegration, forecasting of electricity prices. He has published his work in international journals, including the Journal of Macroeconomics, Journal of Risk and Insurance, Journal of Policy Modeling, and Journal of Public Economic Theory.
Associate professor of Economic Statistics at UniTS, formerly at Assicurazioni Generali. His research interests include panel data econometrics, spatial econometrics, computational econometrics, and insurance economics. He published in international journals such as the Journal of Applied Econometrics, Journal of Statistical Software, Journal of Spatial Econometrics, and Journal of Risk and Insurance.
Post-doctoral researcher at UniTS. He holds a Ph.D. in Managerial and Actuarial Sciences from the University of Trieste and Udine. His research focuses on semi-parametric regression, statistical computing, open-source software, with applications in engineering, environmental statistics, and life sciences. He recently published his research in Environmental and Ecological Statistics, and Journal of the American Statistical Association.
Associate professor of Statistics at UniMI and Senior Researcher at Fondazione Eni Enrico Mattei. Co-PI and head of the local unit. His research spans Bayesian inference, time series analysis, energy economics, and nonlinear models. He published in international journals such as the Journal of Business and Economic Statistics, Journal of Econometrics, International Journal of Forecasting, and Annals of Applied Statistics.
Associate professor of Economic Policy at UniMI and Program Director at Fondazione Eni Enrico Mattei. His research interests include time series econometrics, environmental and energy economics, forecasting, and critical raw materials. He published in international journals such as Energy Economics, Macroeconomic Dynamics, Energy Policy, and Economic Modelling.
Post-doctoral researcher in Statistics at UniMI. He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Milan & University of Pavia under the supervision of Fabrizio Iacone and Luca Rossini. His research focuses on time series models, nowcasting, and forecasting evaluation. He is currently working on Bayesian models applied to electricity markets and recently published his research in The Econometrics Journal.
Associate professor of Statistics at UniBZ and head of the local unit. Her research interests include stochastic models with copulas, clustering techniques for complex data, methods for high-dimensional spatial, time series, and panel data. She published in international journals such as Biometrics, Computational Statistics and Data Analysis, Spatial Statistics, Journal of Classification, and Journal of Banking and Finance.
Post-doctoral researcher in Statistics at UniBZ, with primary interests in the statistical modelling of spatio-temporal data for environmental risk analysis. She holds a Ph.D. from IMT School for Advanced Studies Lucca, where her research centred on georeferenced data analysis, with applications to public-private insurance for natural risks and disaster risk management. She is currently working on multivariate environmental time series with complex dependencies, and she recently published on Risk Analysis and Annals of Operations Research.
